Learn to preserve the local harvest in simple and delicious ways!
Our annual canning workshop will cover the basics of water bath canning, which is suitable for preserving all sorts of foods, including pickles, jams and tomato sauce.
The workshop will be hands-on and all equipment is provided along with knowledgeable instruction from a local canner, SunMie Won. Participants will take home a jar of each recipe we make, plus great information and tips to get started on canning projects in your home kitchen. A simple garden-fresh lunch will also be included.
We suggest you bring your favorite apron and be prepared to have a blast!
